Welcome to Snowdonia

Stunning, rugged Wales at its best

Cross the road from the cottage and you are immediately on the Mawddach Estuary path - at the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park - with nine miles of glorious walking or cycling running adjacent to the river Mawddach between Barmouth and Dolgellau.

For something more strenuous then tackle the Rhinog mountain range or Cader Idris - both the Pony Track and Minffordd routes are within a 20 minute drive from the house. And slightly further afield you can still access the Glyders, Tryfan and Snowdon itself in about an hour.

Or if that all sounds a bit too much then just relax in front of the wood-burner and read a book!

Whether you're looking for a digital-detox, an adventure holiday or just a relaxing family break everything is on the doorstep.
